What I offer

Individual therapy
for adults, rooted
in ACT

Evidence-based, personalized individual therapy via telehealth across California. I help adults build a more flexible, values-driven relationship with their inner world.

The Foundation

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

ACT focuses on building awareness of our relationship with our thoughts and feelings, not fighting them, but changing our perspective on them. The goal isn't to feel better. It's to live better, even alongside difficult feelings.

Particularly well-suited to people who've tried changing their thoughts and found it wasn't quite enough.

Acceptance

Make room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of struggling against them.

Defusion

See thoughts in a different perspective instead of treating them as facts.

Values

Clarify what matters most and use it as your compass.

Committed Action

Build patterns of behavior aligned with your values, even when discomfort arises.

What we can work on together

Parenting

Becoming a parent
changes everything

Parenthood is one of the most profound transitions a person goes through, and one of the least supported. New moms and dads alike can find themselves overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure of who they are now. For new dads especially, there's often no language for what they're feeling and few places to say it.

Individual therapy offers a private space to work through the identity shift, the relationship changes, the grief alongside the joy, on your own terms and at your own pace.

Anxiety & Panic

More than just worry

Anxiety keeps us stuck in loops of avoidance and reassurance-seeking. ACT offers a different path — not eliminating anxiety, but changing your relationship with it so it no longer dictates your choices.

Work Stress & Burnout

When work takes everything

The pressure to perform, perfect, and produce can be relentless. We work on building a healthier relationship with achievement, failure, and what work actually means to you.

Bicultural & Immigrant Stress

Living between two worlds

Identity, belonging, family expectations, and the weight of carrying your family's hopes — as a second-generation immigrant, I bring genuine understanding of this experience. Sessions available in Mandarin.

Trauma

Healing without reliving

Trauma shapes how we move through the world long after the event itself. ACT-based trauma work focuses on building resilience and a meaningful life without getting lost in re-processing the past.

Addiction

Understanding what's underneath

Addiction isn't a character flaw — it's often a very effective short-term solution to long-term pain. Therapy focuses on understanding what's underneath and building a life compelling enough to stay present for.

In-network with Lyra Health

I am out of network for most insurance plans, but I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement. Many PPO plans cover a portion of out-of-network therapy costs.

Sessions are conducted via secure telehealth video. I am licensed in California and see clients throughout the state.

If your employer offers Lyra Health benefits, you may be able to see me at reduced or no cost.
